The Columbia cross country teams competed against some of the nation's best again this year at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Friday, before taking home two wins at the Leopard Invitational on Saturday.

The Columbia women took home a third place finish while the men claimed fifth at today's Metropolitan Cross Country Championships.

The second of three meets of the season at Van Cortlandt Park will get under way this Friday, when Columbia heads to the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships, hosted by Fordham.

The Columbia men's cross country team is the No. 28 ranked team in the nation in the latest poll by the USTFCCCA.

Both the men's and women's cross country teams claimed third at the Princeton Inter-Regional meet today, a day after the men took second at the Paul Short Run and the women finished fifth.

The Columbia cross country team has two races on deck for this weekend, with the Paul Short Run taking place at Lehigh on Friday, and the Princeton Interregional Meet scheduled for Saturday.
